Land of Fashion hosts the brand and its art outside traditional exhibition venues, with an exhibition touring all five Italian Villages for lovers of both the brand and print advertising.
From February 15 to March 22, the Martini Exhibition: advertising as an expression of style, produced jointly by Casa Martini and the Martini & Rossi Historical Archive, will be visiting Puglia Outlet Village.
22 unique posters on show in the unit 44 exhibition space tell the story in images of a leading Italian lifestyle brand from the end of the 20th century to the 1970s.
The great advertising poster artists of the time were commissioned to use their creativity and art to tell the brand’s story.
Visitors to the Village, poster art lovers and shopping enthusiasts will therefore have the chance to reflect on a piece of the brand’s history, with different illustrations, styles, languages and inspirations, from Liberty-style models to a faster and more dynamic language, by some of the greatest Italian and international advertising poster artists, like Giorgio Muggiani (1887-1838), one of the founders of this new form of advertising art, Giuseppe Riccobaldi, Leonardo Cappiello, Jean Droit and Hans Schleger.
The exhibition is sponsored by: Academy of Fine Arts of Bari, Nicola Garrone Professional Institute of Barletta, Don Tonino Bello Professional Institute of Molfetta
Visitors to the Land of Fashion in Molfetta and the surrounding area will therefore have the chance to combine their shopping experience with cultural tourism and the excitement of learning about Italy’s history and culture.
“When you talk about the history of MARTINI, you need to talk about multiple histories. About the history of wine, the history of Italy and the history of advertising,” is how Armando Testa Group CEO Marco Testa describes the world of MARTINI.
